Richard Allen was born on August 7th, 1875 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 Richard Allen's father is John Tutor and his mother is Nancy Connell. His paternal grandparents were Alfred Young Tutor and Charlotte L. Honeycutt. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Elijah Crockett, Lonnie Alonzo, Walter, Harvie D. and Ila. He died at the age of 49 on March 20th, 1925 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
