Alpha Quella Tutor 
Alpha Quella was born on March 9th, 1865 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 Alpha Quella's father was James Hendon Tutor and her mother was Mary Jane Foster. Her paternal grandparents were John Henry Tutor and Martha Patsy Betts. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John Hartwell, William Labon, James Herndon, Jr., Margaret Virginia, Lula Ada, Martha Della and Mary Ella. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 76 on March 13th, 1941 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
