John Benson Thomas

John Benson was born on June 9th, 1829 in Kosiusco, Attala Co., Mississippi.¹   John Benson's father is Nathan Thomas and his mother is Pricilla Guynes. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Felix Washington, James Larkin, Daniel P., Margaret Mary 'Polly' and Priscilla.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 63 on October 7th, 1892 in Bienville Parish, Louisiana.¹ 

‌John Benson and Martha Jane were married in a religious ceremony in 1848 in Probably Attala Co., Missisissippi.¹
