Leon Robert was born on November 24th, 1924 in Newcastle, Young Co., Texas.1 Leon Robert's father was August H. Taack and his mother is Cordie Mae Foreman. His paternal grandparents were Heinrick (Henry) Charles Taack and Henritta Pauline Hecht. He had a sister named Nora Lee. He was the younger of the two children.
