Ray Leland Sutton 
Ray Leland was born on June 7th, 1921 in Raywood, Pocahontas Co., West Virginia.1 Ray Leland's father was James Rufus Sutton and his mother was Nannie Lucinda Ray. His paternal grandparents were Isreal D. Sutton and Izerlyn Gum. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James William, Gray Leland, Dora Ellen, Lelia Izerlyn and Iva May. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 49 on March 9th, 1971.1 General Notes
