Eliza Jane was born on August 1st, 1874.1 Eliza Jane's father was James Alfred Stewart and her mother was Mary Ritchie. Her maternal grandfather is Hiram Ritchie and her maternal grandmother was Euphemy Pharbia Patrick. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John Calvin, George, Mary Elizabeth and Martha Frances.
