Jesse Fielding was born on February 27th, 1863 in Tayler Co., Kentucky.1 Jesse Fielding's father was James W. Sprowls and his mother was Celia Underwood. His maternal grandfather was William C. Underwood and his maternal grandmother is Mariah J. Druien. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Geroge A., William A., Henry S., Gracey O. and Bettie. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 75 in March 1938 in Campbellsville, Kentucy. He was buried in Brookside Cemtery, Campbelslville.1 1 General Notes
