Caspar was born on April 7th, 1781 in Nentershausen, Nassau, Germany.1 Caspar's father was Adam Speyer and his mother was Eva Rorich. His paternal grandparents were Heinrich Speyer and Anna Bendel; his maternal grandparents were Andreas Rorich and Susanna Quierenbach.
