Benjamin Hardin Spelts 
Benjamin Hardin was born in May 1845 in Polk Co., Arkansas.1 Benjamin Hardin's father is Benjamin S. Spelts and his mother was Cecilia Warren. His paternal grandfather is Joseph Allen Spelts and his paternal grandmother was Margaret Mary Warren; his maternal grandparents were Hardin Cody Warren and Lydia Johnson. He had five brothers and a sister, named Anderson, Pleasant Uriah, Joseph T., James Washington, William and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 79 in 1924 in Ask Grove, Missouri.1 General Notes
