William Snider 
William was born on January 10th, 1841 in Vermilion Co., Illinois.1 William's father was Asa Barton Snider and his mother was Margaret J. McCoy. His paternal grandparents were Rudoph Snider and Mary Elizabeth Morgan. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Moses, Davis, Rachael A. and Margaret. He was the oldest of the five children. He had seven half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Samuel, George, John, Michael, Asa, Thomas, Barton, Elizabeth, Mary, Rebecca and Barbara. He died at the age of 22 on August 8th, 1863 in Vermilion Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
