Francis Marion Smart

Francis Marion was born about 1819 in Tennessee.¹   Francis Marion's father is John Smart and his mother is Mary Unknown. He has three brothers and three sisters, named John A., Wiley S., John, Sarah, Nancy and Catherine.  He is the second oldest of the seven children.

‌Francis Marion and Nancy L. were married in a religious ceremony about 1840.¹   They have a son and a daughter, named John J. and Martha J..
