John Q. Skaggs 
John Q. was born on June 4th, 1831.1 John Q.'s father was William Henry Skaggs and his mother was Mary Harrison. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah Skaggs and Rebecca Mayse. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William Henry Harrison, Jeremiah, Matthew, James Thomas, Lorenzo D., Leander, Forrester, Cynthia Ann, Sarah and Malinda. He died at the age of 69 on April 28th, 1901.1 General Notes
