Alvin B. was born on September 27th, 1904 in Kentucky.1 Alvin B.'s father is Richard T. Skaggs and his mother is Cecilia J. Carlisle. His paternal grandparents were Richard Wade Skaggs and Elizabeth Underwood. He had three brothers named William Andy, Malcolm M. and Raymond W.. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 72 on January 7th, 1977 in Taylor Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Otter Creek Baptist Cemetery , LaRue Co., Kentycky.1 1 General Notes
