John E. Shropshire 
John E. was born about 1880 in Johnson Co., Texas.1 John E.'s father was David Namon Shropshire and his mother was Patience E. Barnes. His paternal grandparents were Green M. Shropshire and F. Catherine Bates. He had three brothers and five sisters, named David Namon, Jr., Child, Grover, Fanny, Ola, Lena, Lizzie and Martha. He died after 1880.1 General Notes
