Alexander Ritchie

Alexander was born in 1836.¹ Alexander's father was Gabriel Ritchie and his mother was Nancy Campbell. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Crockett Ritchie and Elizabeth Susan Grigsby. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Squire, Andrew, Henry, Gabriel, Manford, Marion, Dicey, Eliza Jane and Martha. He is the oldest of the ten children. He has a half-brother named Richard.
