Ira George Rafferty 
Ira George was born on December 4th, 1894 in Mason City, Mason Co., Illinois.1 Ira George's father was Elijah Rafferty and his mother was Mary Lou Osborn. His maternal grandfather was John Brown Osborn and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Chaudoin. He had three brothers named Henry Oscar, Cecil Arlington and Clyde Frank. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 65 on June 17th, 1960 in Flora, Illinois.1 General Notes
