Her maternal grandparents were Henry Basham and Martha Ann Warren. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Sidney H., Elma, Sherman, Emette Harrison, Woodrow (Woody), Mattie, Dora, Lucy, Isabelle (Belle), Lillian G., Barbara and Virgie M.. She was the third oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 85 on September 12th, 1966. She was buried in Edgewood Cem., Trenton, Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
