Howell Prestridge 
Howell was born in 1793.1 Howell's father was John, Jr. Prestridge and his mother is Elizabeth Waters. His paternal grandfather was John, Sr. Prestridge and his paternal grandmother is Ann Unknown; his maternal grandparents are Robert, Sr. Walters and Johannah McBee. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Larkin, Samuel, John, Joseph N., Michael, Letty, Nancy, Hannah and Lucy. He is the third youngest of the ten children.
