Charles Frederick Polk 
Charles Frederick was born on December 29th, 1887.1 Charles Frederick's father was James Marion Polk and his mother was Margaret E. Basham. His maternal grandparents were John Marion Basham and Margaret Elizabeth Hinds. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named John Marion, Homer Ernest, Archie Dean, Lorene Juli, Norma Laurie, Mary Sophrona, Effie, Alice Elvira, Edna, Etta Irene and Edna Margaret. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 60 on February 27th, 1948 in Denver, Colorado.1 General Notes
