Living's father was Thomas Oliver and his mother was Winnie Othello Clayton. His paternal grandparents were Nicolas Oliver and Ellen (Ellenor) Warner. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Reno, Garth Sears, Living, Living, Elma Ellen, Nancy Ethel, Living and Living.-
