Robert Houston was born on January 26th, 1819 in Knox, TN.1 Robert Houston's father was George Anderson McNutt and his mother was Melinda Houston. His paternal grandfather was George McNutt and his paternal grandmother is Jean Virginia Anderson; his maternal grandparents are UNKNOWN Robert and UNKNOWN Margaret. He had a brother and a sister, named George Anderson and Mary J.. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 66 on March 21st, 1885.1 General Notes
