Roderick McLeod

Roderick was born on August 15th, 1805 in Scotland.¹   Roderick's father was Peter McLeod and his mother was Sarah McCaskill. He had ten brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Farquehard, Norman C., Allen, Peter,Jr., Benjamin, Archabald, John, Kenneth McCaskill, Sweyn, Nancy and Catherine.  He was the second oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 81 on December 22nd, 1886 in Greene  Co., Mississippi.  He was buried in LcLeod Cemetery, Greene Co., Mississippi.^1 1 

‌Roderick and Flora were married in a religious ceremony in 1832.¹   They had three sons and two daughters, named Daniel, Benjamin Franklin, John Roah, Sarah and Margaret.
