Mary Mayo

Mary was born on June 2nd, 1759 in Goochland Co., Virginia.¹ Mary's father was Valentine Mayo and her mother is Anne Patterson. Her paternal grandparents were James Mayo and Ruth Underwood. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Valentine,Jr., Thomas, James, Elizabeth, Martha, Sarah, Ruth and Nancy. She is the oldest of the nine children.
