Nancy was born on November 5th, 1809 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 Nancy's father was Edward Maxey and her mother was Judy White. Her paternal grandparents were William Maxey and Elizabeth Chambers; her maternal grandparents were William White and Margaret UNKNOWN. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named William H, John Jackson, Thomas J, Edward M, James Goodson, Chambers Irwin, Preston W, Henry Lawson, Elizabeth and Sarah M.
