William Lynds 
William was born on August 7th, 1779 in Onslow, Colchester Co, NS.1 William's father was John Lynds and his mother was Eunice McNutt. His maternal grandparents were William McNutt and Elizabeth Thompson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Jacob, Thomas, Barnabas, John Harris, Lucy, Hannah and Mary. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 69 on December 13th, 1848 in North River, Colchester Co, NS.1 General Notes
