Catherine Ledford

Catherine was born in 1840 in North Carolina.¹   Catherine's father was Samuel B. Ledford and her mother is Rachel Curtis. She had six brothers and a sister, named John E., Moses M., Zeb, James Kenneth, Marcus, Curtis and Mary M..  She is the oldest of the eight children.
