Lewis H. was born on March 10th, 1842 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Lewis H.'s father was Henry Johnson and his mother was Elizabeth Morris. His paternal grandfather is Isham Johnson and his paternal grandmother was Sarah Warren. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Jesse, William T., Mahalia and Asberine.
