Mahala Holland 
Mahala was born about 1794 in Cumberland Co., Virginia.1 Mahala's father was John B. Holland and her mother was Elizabeth Brown. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Holland and her paternal grandmother is Sarah Bradley. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Chester, Chisley, Clement, John, William, Agnes, Lucy, Martha, Mary and Nancy. She died after 1860.1 General Notes
