1   George's father was Joe Hettinger and his mother was Caroline Stuedle.  His maternal grandparents were Karl Stuedle and Mary Roederer. He had four sisters named Lillian Katherine, Carrie, Elizabeth and Norma.  He died in 1976.1

‌George and Christine were married in a religious ceremony.1   They had a son and five daughters, named Living, Virginia C., Living, Living, Living and Living.
