James Hankins 
James was born on October 27th, 1815.1 James' father was Moses Hankins and his mother is Martha Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were John Hankins and Elizabeth Skaggs. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Robert, William, John, Elizabeth, Lucinda, Charlotte, Nancy, Rebecca and Cynthia. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 69 on February 17th, 1885.1 General Notes
