Robert Hancock

Robert was born in 1676 in Henrico Co., Virginia.¹   Robert's father was Robert Hancock and his mother was Johan Ligon.  His paternal grandparents are Simon Hancock and Sarah Unknown; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Ligon and Mary Harris. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William, Robert, Sarah, Mary, Joan Johannah, Elizabeth and Phoebe.  He is the fourth oldest of the eight children.
