Samuel Grigsby 
Samuel was born on May 20th, 1803 in Rockbridge, Virginia.1 Samuel's father was William Grigsby and his mother is Sarah Porter. His paternal grandparents were John,3rd Grigsby and Rosanna Etchison. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named William, Jr., John, Elizabeth Porter, Caroline, Cynthia, Phoebe, Polly, Sarah and Jane. He died at the age of 53 on October 30th, 1856.1 General Notes
