Elizabeth Jane Grigsby 
Elizabeth Jane was born on March 15th, 1827.1 Elizabeth Jane's father was Reuben Grigsby and her mother was Verlinda Alexander Porter. Her paternal grandparents were John,3rd Grigsby and Elizabeth Porter; her maternal grandparents are Abner Porter and Hanna Ingram. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Lucian Porter, Abner Joseph, George Hugh Blair, Benjamin Porter, Jacqueline A., Hannah Frances, Mary Ann, Lucy Maria, Reubenia W. and Emma Martha. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 78 in 1905.1 General Notes
