Benjamin Porter Grigsby 
Benjamin Porter was born on September 18th, 1770.1 Benjamin Porter's father was James Grigsby and his mother was Frances Porter. His paternal grandparents were John,3rd Grigsby and Rosanna Etchison. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Simeon, Mary and Hannah. He had eleven half-brothers named Etchison, Samuel, John, William H., Louis, Calvin, Charles, Mondoner, Newton, James and Wilkilson. He died at the age of 41 in 1811 in Norfolk, Virginia.1 General Notes
