Albert's father was David Griffin and his mother is Sarah Unknown. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Culverson, Anthony, Washington, Bluford, James, David, George, Elizabeth Ann, Michel Susan, Catherine, Jane, Peggy and Rebecca.
