His paternal grandparents were William Franklin Smith Graham and Ann Elisor Alley. He had a brother and a sister, named Alvie Earl and Eula Lee. He was the oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named William Price, Mildred and Nona Virginia. He died at the age of 74 on December 14th, 1973 in Dallas, Dallas Co., Texas.
