Martha Graham

Martha was born on March 25th, 1824.¹ Martha's father was William Graham and her mother is Leah Bloyd. Her paternal grandfather was Peter Graham and her paternal grandmother is Nancy Elizabeth Lynn. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named John H., Peter, Benjamin, James Ship, Merrick H., Nelson Reed, Moses, Nancy and Amanda. She is the third youngest of the ten children.
