He had five brothers and six sisters, named Jehu, William Henry, Edward, Willis, Arthur Lee, Victoria Elizabeth, Mollie, Alabama Maleance, Alice, Caladona and Flora Belle. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 56 on August 14th, 1917 in Winkleman, Gila Co., Arizona.
