Sarah Gillis

Sarah was born in 1872 in Cumberland Co., North Carolina.¹ Sarah's father is John Alexander Gillis and her mother is Catherine Jane Blue. Her paternal grandfather was Roderick D. Gillis and her paternal grandmother is Margaret Mary Graham. She has a brother and three sisters, named Archibald Alexander, Margaret Eliza, Mary Alice and Annie Jane. She is the third oldest of the five children.
