Joseph P. Gibson

Joseph P. was born on May 25th, 1842 in Tazewell, Claiborne Co., Tennessee.¹   Joseph P.'s father is Archibald Gibson and his mother is Nancy Burchfield.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 58 on February 10th, 1901 in Medicine Lodge, Barber Co., Kansas.¹ 

‌Joseph P. and Phoebe Laura were married in a religious ceremony on April 18th, 1881 in Barber Co., Kansas.¹   They had five daughters named Cornelia Mabel, Edith Fern, Ethel, Gladys Charlotte and Helen Josephine.
