Sterling, Jr. Gardner 
Sterling, Jr. was born on June 2nd, 1808.1 Sterling, Jr.'s father was Sterling, Sr. Gardner and his mother was Mary Polly Neal. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Gardner and UNKNOWN Martha; his maternal grandparents were Thomas, Jr. Neal and Sarah Loyless. He had a brother and four sisters, named John, Caroline, Fannie B., Susan and Mary Rose. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 26 in 1834.1 -
