William Penn was born on March 7th, 1850.1   William Penn's father is Joshua Wingate Frost and his mother is Mary H. Whitman.  His paternal grandfather is Wingate Frost and his paternal grandmother was Anna Mitchell. He had five brothers and a sister, named Henry Lynden, Loell Whitman, Lorell Whitman, Hebert Mitchel, Milton and Anna Wingate.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 17 on October 4th, 1867.1
