Alice Dowell 
Alice was born in 1768 in Bedford Co., Virginia.1 Alice's father was George DOWELL and her mother was Margaret \\. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Dowell and her paternal grandmother is Thomas's Wife Unknown. She had five brothers and a sister, named Micajah, Nehemiah, Francis, Elijah, John and Celia. She had seven half-brothers and a half-sister, named Littleberry, Elijah, Francis, John, Littleberry, Micajah, Nehemiah and Alice. She died at the age of 58 in 1826 in Bedford Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
