James R. DeSpain

James R. was born on September 28th, 1856 in Kentucky.¹   James R.'s father was Joseph DeSpain and his mother is Sarah Morrison. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William Henry, Joseph Thomas, Marshall, Lewis, George Washington, Robert, Elizabeth and Malinda A..  He is the third oldest of the nine children.
