Ruby Diar was born on December 12th, 1896.1 Ruby Diar's father was Washington Lafette Davis and her mother was Sarah Jane Graham. Her maternal grandparents were Isaac Jackson Graham and Sarah Ann Kinsey. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Anderson Jackson, William A., Washington Lee, Alvin Eugene, Thomas Walter, Sarah Francis, Jessie Carolyn and Edna Mattie. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 67 on July 26th, 1964.1 General Notes
