Townsend Cutshaw 
Townsend was born on August 7th, 1803 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.1 Townsend's father was Thomas Cutshaw and his mother was Ann Hall. He was an only child. He died at the age of 80 on August 16th, 1883 in Salem, Indiana.1 
‌Townsend and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony on March 11th, 1827 in Salem, Indiana.2 They had a son and three daughters, named Joseph F., Eliza A., Ellen and Udora.

Eliza A. was born on November 30th, 1827 in Salem, Indiana.1 She died at the age of 42 on June 4th, 1870 in New Albany, Indiana.1
