Jemima Cherry

Jemima was born in 1839 in MACOUPIN, ILL.¹ Jemima's father was John Cherry and her mother was Ann E Rice. Her paternal grandparents were William Cherry and Lottie Hopkins. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John W, Thomas C, John Berry, James, Mary, Lavinia, Sarah, Martha N and Elizabeth. She was the third youngest of the ten children.¹
