John Joseph Brown 
John Joseph was born on August 1st, 1882 in New Albany, Indiana.1 John Joseph's father was Robert, Sr. Brown and his mother was Anna Paquette. His paternal grandparents were John Brown and Mary Jane Scott. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Robert H., Jr., Edward R., Stewart Walter, Clarence Homer, Harry Vance, William Doan, Gilbert Edward and Viola Mal. He died at the age of 52 on May 30th, 1935.1 
John Joseph and Matilda were married in a religious ceremony in New Albany, Indiana.2 They had a son and a daughter, named Edward Charles and Katherine Louise.
