John Bell was born on June 7th, 1857 in Larissa, Cherokee Co., Texas.1 John Bell's father was Thomas Boteler and his mother was Mary Caroline (Twin) Hague. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Uriah Boteler and Eliza Harley; his maternal grandparents were James Hague and Anne Foster. He was an only child. He died at the age of 70 on September 22nd, 1927 in Itasca, Hill Co., Texas.1 -
