Zelar Basham 
Zelar was born after 1894.1 Zelar's father was Thomas Gowen Basham and his mother was Susan Betty Wood. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Elizabeth McComb. He had four brothers and a sister, named Jonathan Benjamin (J B), Freddie, Henry Harrison, Gowen and Mattie. He is the second youngest of the six children.
